Useless

Impossible to read iBooks ! Im not happy at all buying this app. I Hope an update soon...

Impressive but...

Need of having a paid Instapaper subscription ! Great idea but What about iPad ??? iBooks ?? Mails ? PDFs ??? Some feature missing for this price...

Operational

This app is quiet good, i was wondering if it supported the ibooks application for future updates. Thank you.

All good

Nice, finally with Readability-Support :-) Missing: - sharing - unread count - settings for more time for long words

Great App

Solid design – great execution of that design. Five stars for sure.

Great app. could use improvements

This is a great app. Great design, earned a spot on my home screen. Definitely recommend, time to see if it will help me in English class.

This app works!

Great app that really improved my reading speed. Always wanted something like this in the IPhone. The ability to read articles saved in Pocket and Instapaper is a huge plus.

Absolutely Fantastic

Ive had this for a while, and its brilliant. It lets you read long articles extremely quickly, and I love how it can detect a URL in your clipboard, and ask you if you want to read it. 5/5.

Requires an Instapaper Subscription???

What the heck? Might want to put that at the TOP of the app description instead of a footnote. Guess Ill go back to using ReadQuick, the app that the makers of this app completely ripped off, then added an iOS 7 coat of paint and a sneaky Instapaper Subscription requirement. Hmmm. No such requirement in ReadQuick.

Game changer

Truly a mind blowing app. I never thought Id be able to speed read, but this app has proved true. Easily integrates into your browser and will read anything off the net. Would be nice if I could read books with this app as well. Will change the way people read for sure.

If you can get one app, get this

The most amazing way to read. I wish this came out when I was younger. It makes reading sooooooooo much easier.

The App is Incomplete!

I paid for this app for one reason only: to help me speed read countless documents and reports that are in PDF. Unfortunately, Velocity cant even import or read a simple text PDF file unless you copy each page one by one. Now why would I want to spend more time setting up the app than it would take for me to read the document on a regular screen? Furthermore, it is not optimized for the iPad at all. The interface looks horrible they should be ashamed to even state that is is iPad compatible. Most of my reading is done on my iPad (hence all my files are there too). If this app was better integrated with more apps, like notability which holds all my notes, and can read PDFs, then it would be better. Right now it is useless.

Alternative to Spritz

Great interface. I use it for reading articles friends post, and works super well.

Update fail

Freezes for 15 seconds every time you come in to app - including from background. Boo.

Very Interesting

A few suggestions for improvement: * Difficult/rare/long words should appear longer on screen. * Buttons to slightly speed up and slow down reading, maybe rabbit and turtle could be tappable. Good job adding support for word boundaries for East Asian languages!

I want to use but I cant

Doesnt open pocket articles. Has trouble to open URLs. Add support for reading sites that you cannot copy/past texts. Please fix the bugs!

It really makes you read faster

This is no joke, Velocity works, and Im so happy I have it. Now I can go through my Pocket list so much faster, saving a lot of time. Super recommended!

Awesome app!

Im very impressed with this apps results! It makes me read a lot faster and forget subvocalization. Nice and clean design is a big plus.

Good idea, poor execution - save your money for now

It fails to mention that you need an Instapaper subscription for that functionality to work. Just awful iPad support... Too restrictive in terms of sources it will allow you to read from.... basically making a good idea totally useless.

Nice, but where is the iPad version

Nice app, much better than many others. But, since I do most of my reading on an iPad, I hope there is an iPad version in the works. Hopefully with a integration to iBook.
