This is a great app that is very clean and user friendly. I wish it was easier to add pdf files from dropbox or some other cloud client - i know a lot of grad students who would love an app that could do that!

Pros - The app does work well. Cons - ZERO documentation anywhere. Trial and error to get it to work. BIG complaint from me. No where does it notify you that their preferred source for reading material is Instapaper. Instapaper costs you another couple of dollars AND requires a monthly subscription fee. From my perspective, its misrepresentation of the cost of the app.

How about making it universal? Thanks!

I never leave reviews for apps, so that should say something. I love this app. So easy to input articles, docs etc. dont forget the bookmark feature in safari! Makes it super easy to read things. Highly recommend.

While I now know I can easily read more than 650 words a minute, I cant read 80% of what I want to read like iBooks. There is no instructions or directions to getting more sources to read. This product works it is just terribly designed and is extremely limited I its usefulness... The fact that I have to go out and get 3 more accounts to products to be able to read anything that is not on the internet is extremely annoying especially because this app does not facilitate getting those accounts. And the fact that you can read things on the internet is ruined by the fact there is no search engine and you have to cut and paste exact addresses from a different app into the field to get to your article. So dont buy this till it gets better!

...I really want to read books with this app, not just articles! Otherwise, as a very slow reader - my whole life, this is a dream come true! Just want to finally read a whole lot of books now! I hear competition is on the way, hopefully one of them will make books readable with this speed reading technique!

This has very limited content access. Dont waste your money.

This is a very elegant app and it mostly works as advertised, but it lacks some essential tools in how it does RSVP. Most urgently, it needs to be smarter about how long it shows words that are longer or unusual. The best RSVP apps are able to adapt for this. Secondly, it should be easier to scrub back a few words or to replay a sentence. Finally, it should be able to show you where you are in context if needed. Some writing is complex and needs to be seen in context to fully understand. But for most web magazine articles this works fine.

But make the textbox thing you can type in better. It should keep up with you when you get to the bottom of the page.

Good idea, but I want to be able to read ibooks or kindle. I have the content that I want to read.. I dont want to sign up for more services for what Im not sure of.

It is very hard to follow along with this app. Most other programs like this have a pause at a period or comma allowing you to comprehend the sentence. This just goes and never stops. Comprehension is very hard. I would wait for spritz to come out with their app before buying this. Much more sophisticated approach.

Functionally fantastic, does whats promised. I was concerned that it would be difficult to load articles etc. into the app because of a few negative reviews, but in fact found that was not the case. You can go directly to a website and import, or open Pocket and start reading. If Im on my tablet or computer and find an article, I just email myself the link, then open the email in Apples mail app, click the link and open the site in Safari (not Chrome). Having installed their bookmarklet, its then drop dead simple to import the target article. Just make sure to install the bookmarklet, simple instructions are included inside the app. Too bad we cant use with Kindle, but even without that, this is an incredible tool and value!

I really like this app, but it should come with fore features. For example the Flash Reader app has blink mode which I find to be very helpful to discern the transition from one word to the other. Without blink I tend to lose my focus and see the word scrolling. Secondly the developer needs to clean up the icon. The trailing lines make the app looks like a mount 3Dish. Take that out to make it look flat like the rest of iOS 7

When reading a book its too easy to lose place. Itd be great to see a regular page view marking the word that youre on.

This is very well done. I wish there were more font choices and an iPad version.

I am disappointed! I cannot access and read the books within the Books App on my iPhone! I have many books within the books App and cannot read them. This is not mentioned in the blurb which is made available. I could not have made an informed choice and would not have bothered spending the Dollars if I had known! Cmon folks lets wake up!

Im definitely enjoying this app - the decreased time in which Im able to complete articles is definitely incentivizing as far as my day-to-day reading is concerned. There are, however, a few problems, most of which have already been mentioned in other reviews: one should be able to read PDFs, iBooks, etc. - not just online articles -using this app; periods, commas, etc. should interrupt the flow of text ever so slightly (mimicking the pause punctuation typically prompts in speech); etc. Hopefully these changes come soon!

As a college student who has to read many and long articles and pieces for all oft classes, this app lets me copy the text and then loads it for me to read! It not only makes me focus and get my reading done, but increases the speed at which I read! Love it and recommend it to all, its a great way to read what you have to read but also increase your skills in speed reading.
