Pros and cons of Accelerator: Speed Reader app for iPhone and iPad
Accelerator: Speed Reader app good for
This app is quiet good, i was wondering if it supported the ibooks application for future updates. Thank you.
Nice, finally with Readability-Support :-)
Missing:
- sharing
- unread count
- settings for more time for long words
Solid design – great execution of that design. Five stars for sure.
This is a great app. Great design, earned a spot on my home screen. Definitely recommend, time to see if it will help me in English class.
Great app that really improved my reading speed. Always wanted something like this in the IPhone. The ability to read articles saved in Pocket and Instapaper is a huge plus.
Ive had this for a while, and its brilliant. It lets you read long articles extremely quickly, and I love how it can detect a URL in your clipboard, and ask you if you want to read it. 5/5.
Some bad moments
Impossible to read iBooks ! Im not happy at all buying this app. I Hope an update soon...
Need of having a paid Instapaper subscription !
Great idea but What about iPad ???
iBooks ?? Mails ? PDFs ???
Some feature missing for this price...
What the heck? Might want to put that at the TOP of the app description instead of a footnote. Guess Ill go back to using ReadQuick, the app that the makers of this app completely ripped off, then added an iOS 7 coat of paint and a sneaky Instapaper Subscription requirement.
Hmmm. No such requirement in ReadQuick.
I paid for this app for one reason only: to help me speed read countless documents and reports that are in PDF. Unfortunately, Velocity cant even import or read a simple text PDF file unless you copy each page one by one. Now why would I want to spend more time setting up the app than it would take for me to read the document on a regular screen? Furthermore, it is not optimized for the iPad at all. The interface looks horrible they should be ashamed to even state that is is iPad compatible. Most of my reading is done on my iPad (hence all my files are there too).
If this app was better integrated with more apps, like notability which holds all my notes, and can read PDFs, then it would be better. Right now it is useless.
Freezes for 15 seconds every time you come in to app - including from background. Boo.
Doesnt open pocket articles. Has trouble to open URLs. Add support for reading sites that you cannot copy/past texts.
Please fix the bugs!
